LIONS DENN MEDIA LLC
About Leonard "Burt" Dennis
Leonard "Burt" Dennis is the founder, CEO, and Editor-in-Chief of Lions Denn Media LLC — a Sarasota, Florida-based forensic analytics and brand protection consultancy operating under Florida Statute §90.5015 journalistic privilege. He is a United States Marine Corps veteran with service-connected disability, a University of Alabama graduate in Communications and Information Sciences, and a working investigative journalist with more than 26 years of zero-defect analytical practice.
Named after his grandfather, Judge Leonard Irl Burt, Dennis brings the same methodical precision demanded of a Marine and a jurist to every investigation. His analytical framework — built on primary source verification, strict evidence tiering, and zero tolerance for speculative inference — produces deliverables that hold up under legal scrutiny.

Cox Interactive Media was one of the founding companies of digital advertising infrastructure in the United States — preceding the consumer-facing platforms most people know today, and establishing the early publisher ad network architecture that evolved into the modern commercial ecosystem. Dennis operated inside that architecture before most practitioners knew it existed. His forensic reading of today's infrastructure reflects expertise developed over a quarter century — not a course.
Dennis founded Lions Denn Media LLC to address a gap no existing consultancy had identified: the commercial exploitation of private individuals' identities through legacy media content and the advertising infrastructure attached to it. His foundational case — a multi-year forensic investigation into a legacy media article and the commercial machinery monetizing it — established LDM's methodology and produced a framework currently under review by Florida counsel.
He is currently a graduate student in the College of Communication and Information Sciences at the University of Alabama, advancing his study of forensic rhetorical science and institutional accountability journalism.
